The StrategyStory team was delighted and honoured to welcome Scotland’s newly appointed ‘Chief Entrepreneur’ to our studio yesterday during a prestigious visit to the Inverness Creative Academy.

Included in the party, led by WASPS chief executive Audrey Carlin, were Kate Forbes MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and the Economy, Mark Logan, Scotland’s newly appointed Chief Entrepreneur, and Stuart Black, Chief Executive of Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

The theme of the visit was entrepreneurship – a key dimension of The Scottish Government’s recently launched National Strategy for Economic Transformation. Mark Logan’s new appointment aims to ensure entrepreneurship is embedded in the economy, and that partnerships with industry and investors are prioritised and strengthened.

Entrepreneurship is at the heart of StrategyStory’s approach to development and StrategyStory’s Co-founder and Creative Director, Kate Hooper described our business and its innovative story-driven approach to getting people involved in strategy and  transformation. The StrategyStory method has been developed after many years of action research and experience of what works and what doesn’t.

And good too to see Prof Donald Maclean give a video airing of Red Squirrel – our business development programme for rural and creative businesses.
