Nicky Marr was a litigation solicitor turned radio breakfast show host, and is now a freelance writer, broadcaster and conference/event host, working across the UK in sectors as diverse as renewable and nuclear energy, food and drink, tourism, the rural economy and angel investment. She recently hosted the SNP Leadership Debate and award-winning A9 Crisis Summit for Highland News and Media, having been a columnist for their north of Scotland titles for over 20 years. Nicky works with school pupils, charities, business organizations and individuals, helping them to better communicate their goals, skills, purpose, and impact, and has been a qualified life-coach since 2014.

Kate has worked extensively across online, broadcast and print media, and wrote her own column for years. She has also led two of HIE’s Creative Industries business networks. Kate co-founded strategy and communications consultancy, StrategyStory in 2017 – a Highlands and Islands based business that works locally, nationally and internationally to help businesses craft their stories to reach audiences, staff and customers.
