The company was founded by the two Directors, Kate and Donald,
who have brought their fields together to help businesses,
organisations and communities develop their strategies.

Professor Donald MacLean
Co-founder StrategyStory
In addition to co-founding StrategyStory, Professor Donald MacLean works at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. Donald’s internationally published, ground-breaking research on strategy and strategic management is used by business and other academics across the world. His book, Strategic Management: Strategists at Work has been described as ‘genius’ and ‘tour de force’ by leading international scholars.

Kate Hooper
Co-founder StrategyStory
Kate Hooper was BBC senior producer/producer (news and current affairs, politics, human interest, topical and events). She has led content and communication teams in the public and academic sectors. She has worked extensively across online, broadcast and print media.
